| Russell Blackwood is a freediving (one-breath hold) underwater image creator, who has lived with the marinelife of the Outer Banks of NC for over 30 years. Using the freediving method, he is able to approach and interact with sea creatures of almost every species. Water Surf Photography is his other passion. His images have been published in Surfer, Surfer's Journal, Surfing, Hawaii Skindiver, International Freediving, and many other magazines, books, and websites. |
